Centre Circle Publishing (CCPub) was launched in the Summer of 2007 by non-League football writer and photographer David Bauckham as a vehicle for promoting and generally raising awareness of his work, both online and in print. The first book to be published under the Centre Circle Publishing imprint was 'A Season Of Sussex Soccer' in June 2008, by David in collaboration with Terry Buckman. The book has received universally positive reviews and copies of this strictly limited edition are still currently available. In the long term it is envisaged that the CCPub imprint will be used to publish books considered of too limited appeal to be of interest to mainstream publishing houses, but nevertheless of great interest to enthusiasts of non-League football in particular. Thus CCPub will specialise in relatively small print runs and in some cases will rely on the support of 'subscribers' prepared to invest in a particular project by pre-ordering volumes and thereby ensure that sufficient funds are available for the book to be printed and published. This philosophy was put into practice in September 2008 when CCPub published 'Wick To Wembley? ... on the trail of the FA Cup' by first-time author Andy Ollerenshaw. |
